Modules..
This will be a boring post i knoe... u may not understand why and what i'm writing.. because behind this reputable and established university, there is a stupid system called cors.. (dunnoe if it works like that for poly/private unis though..)
bcos i'm really indecisive. and bcos cors makes you choose the modules(u wana take), then let you FIGHT among your coursemates to get it, and gleefully let you grieve over the modules you fail to get, then again choose a new module painfully, then fight again.. and the cycle continues. If you dun understand, just know, it's really stupid and it's a senseless competition.
I have FINALLY made up my mind on the modules i wana take. I've got 3 successful preallocated modules and i've decided to keep at least 2 of them. In the end, i dropped one of the two to get a new mod(without hesitation), and kept the 3rd mod. I think i'm such a messy person. was feeling quite stressed at that moment becos each mod has its pros and cons. Friends play a role too. I was supposed to take 3soci mods with liy as we've planned it this way. In the end, i dropped two and she dropped one. and we didn't share any common mod. Luckily, we found ourselves taking another mod which we didn't plan together. ha! anyw i'm taking 4soci mods and 1nm mod.
On a happier note, one of the soci mods is lectured by my favorite lecturer, Dr. P. Dear was so excited that he was thinking of taking this L3000 module with me as his UE! (he loves the lecturer too). Even though this module seems really difficult, looks like this sem my vote (for teachers award) will remain unchanged already.. heee. hope he'll be as nice as last sem:D

Apart from modules, Luke called me this afternoon i've got Bronze award for the CSC Colours' Award. So nice that they still remember me despite my isolation from the club. It was also very nice to see some friends on the list :D I think this Volunteer Appreciation Tea is really meaningful(not bcos i've got an award la). How often have you volunteered somewhere and feel appreciated after? Of cos there must be sacrificing figure like the 7th MC to make all these possible, just like the way we planned it last year for other volunteers. But u'll know it's really heartwarming to bring these kind souls together as a celebration and all hard work is worthwhile afterall, when you see the cheery smiles on all faces.
