Insights + Updates + Randoms

~These two weeks were kinda chaotic. Don't really know how to begin. haha~! Busy with pru training and it was really tiring to have tests after tests after tests. This $1.5k isn't easy to earn man. On a brighter side, we're earning ourselves a license, for free. OKAY i shouldn't complain:P

I think i really learnt quite alot from these few weeks. No, not on pru products, in fact, i was sleeping everytime:P, but the course trains alot on our mindsets in general. Bookstores always have books like "how to be successful within 90days?", "how to be a millionaire?" etc. At times, i wonder, who REALLY take them for real? And i'm wrong bcos people do take them for real, do emulate what millionaires do, and they do eventually become one. I'm not exactly inspired this way because i'm not aspiring to be a millionaire for now. Frankly, I don't EXACTLY believe all the preachings like ATTITUDE is all you need to shape you, etc whatever nonsense. As a sociologist :P, i still take the stand of how the society is structured, and how classes, power and gender are closely intertwined in the society that imbue the way we are. However, what striked me most was how millionaires do things and how things actually work, in the midst of ordeals and challenges. It definitely enables me to view things in a different light, from a different angle, giving me another perspective, something out of what i learnt from my degree. Certainly, it also galvanised me to start considering about what i wana do next time :)

After all the trainings, i feel there is a need for me to really really unmask all the stereotypes people have of an insurance agent. There is an ever negative connotation of an insurance person but in actuality, insurance agents don't work the way you assumed. As much as there is a sensitive NEW AGE guys (SNAG), there is a thing call the NEW AGE insurance agents. At least those in my office, they are really rich but nice, humble people. I can't imagine them pestering people, really. I like the way they taught us to be the OPPOSITE of the typical image of an "insurance agent", and i'm all hands for it. Like the way they made us write down everything we personally don't like them, and teach us how not to be like them. I believe all of us admire all e bosses alot :)

As much as geisha aren't whores, insurance agents aren't pests. really

Yes, all stereotypes begin from a grain of truth, but certainly, we can't dismiss them the way they are. Kinda touched when some friends supported me in this industry/even encourage me to continue in this line after graduation. haha. even though i'm not intending to, thanks aplenty! :)

haha the previous month also attended around four 21st birthdays. Greatly touched by all what their boyfriends have done for them :) haha. The power of love, indeed :) sometimes, this force is pretty amazing and it's what that drives mankind to continue lovin'. Who says urban life is void of love? :))

DF gonna hav another girl attached soon i hope :P heh u know who i'm refering to! kinda look forward to this pair, despite her incessant denial. Indeed, all thanks to zw(!!) who caught both of you scandalous! hahah~! :P

Brought dear to K's house for haircut few days back. I REALLY don't know what's wrong with the seat, because whoever who sits on it will have sudden impulse to do sth to their hair! HAHA. Shan who suddenly decided to highlight, the lady who suddenly decided to dye after washing, dear who suddenly decided to rebond! hahah! this is REALLY funny and mind-boggling as well man~! :P

K also showed me all his photoshoots with the international models for TODAY newspapers. hahah dear doesn't like caucasian girls while i have hots over the pretty caucasian models that it got me intrigued! haha actually K meant to show me the make-up that he has carefully chosen but haha, my attention was on the girls:P I really adore caucasian models because i think their features just looked so damn cool - esp their deep-set eyes, with their long torso :)

I really like her wig :) i can't imagine what a major heart attack dear and mum would have if i come home with such haircut one day :P anyway she's so pretty rite! she looks like a mannequin!

Got hooked onto online shopping already! :P and also drag mum and sis into it. HAHA. all three of us ordered sth from gojane :) imagine my mum!! haha. gojane is really my fav usa spree! really like their items, and esp their shoes/sandals!! and their price is affordable toooo! I asked kim as well cos i told dear, she's hardcore usa spree-r HAHA OPPS! :P can't wait to receive all our items!! definitely all thanks to kk and S for ordering and bringing back the items for us! heee can't wait!

I'm reading a book recently, it's a storybook about managing your finance. haha an easy read and i'm liking it too. It's a narrative which really make sense, about the functioning of the reality. heh i kinda like these sorta books. Of cos, this is given by boss who asked all of us to read. haha I TOLD YOU SO, my money is really not easy to earn. HAHA. Next week still got another test.. urrgs! the textbook is A4 2cm thick again...

I wana gain weight!!! last week i thought i gained 1 -1.5kg so i announced to most of my friends i met, almost with a loudhailer. This week is back to the same again. It's really irritating and torturing when i can't fit into most of the high waisted skirts i like. It's really irritating to have constraints when shopping.

I was just back from family gathering and the two little girls kinda made my day. Seeing two girls chasing after each other for toys.. haha how adorable :D

Have a goodnite rest dear.
A weekend without you... feels weird.
haha
